These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website and any purchase you make through it (the “Site”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1) Who We Are / Contact

This Site is operated by Syd’s Brick Resto‑MOCs (“we,” “us,” “our”).

2) Products & Availability

We offer physical products (including LEGO-related items and parts) and digital products (PDF instructions for custom MOCs).

All listings are subject to availability. We may limit quantities, discontinue products, or correct listing errors at any time.

3) Condition of Physical Items (Used Parts Notice)

Due to the nature of how parts are sourced (often from bulk collections, including older collections), some parts may show signs of wear, minor scratches, light discoloration, or other cosmetic variation.

We do our best to rebuild sets and models using the nicest parts we have available and to describe listings as accurately as possible.

4) Pricing & Taxes

Prices are shown on the Site and may change at any time. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout based on your location and applicable law.

5) Order Processing & Shipping Timeline

Items shown as available for purchase are in stock and typically ready to ship within 1–2 business days after your order is placed (excluding weekends and holidays).

Shipping/transit times vary by carrier and destination and are not guaranteed.

6) Shipping Details, Address Accuracy, and Carrier Delays

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

Once your order is handed off to the carrier, delivery timing is handled by the carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, service disruptions, or other events outside our control.

7) Cancellations

You may request a cancellation only before your order ships.

Orders cannot be canceled once the item has shipped.

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.

8) Sales & Returns (Physical Products Only)

All sales of restored sets and mystery packs are final. Due to the unique, used nature of our inventory and the labor-intensive restoration process, we do not accept returns for buyer's remorse or "duplicates" received in mystery packs.

The "Wrong Set" Exception

In the unlikely event that Syd ships the incorrect set (e.g., you ordered a Star Fighter and received a Fire Truck), we will initiate an exchange.

  • You must contact the shop within 7 days of delivery.
  • The set must be returned in the disassembled state in which it was received.
  • Syd will cover the return shipping costs for verified shipping errors.

9) No Returns / No Refunds for Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of Digital Downloads are final. We do not offer returns, exchanges, cancellations, or refunds for Digital Downloads once the purchase is completed, except where required by law.

10) Missing or Damaged Parts (30-Day Replacement Policy)

We pride ourselves on our multi-point inspection, but we are human.

  • Missing/Damaged Parts: If a part is functionally damaged or missing from a set labeled "100% Inventoried," contact us within 30 days of purchase and include your order number and photos (if applicable). We will ship a replacement part at no cost, provided it is in our current salvage stock.
  • Brand Accuracy: If an off-brand "clone" part manages to sneak past the Detailing Bay, please contact us within 30 days of purchase and include your order number and photos (if applicable). We will send an official replacement if available.

If replacement parts are not available, we may offer an alternative resolution such as a partial refund, store credit, or another reasonable option depending on the situation.

11) Digital Downloads (PDF MOC Instructions) — License & Restrictions

When you purchase a digital product from us, you are purchasing PDF instructions for a custom MOC (My Own Creation) (the “Digital Download”). You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Digital Download for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Delivery / Access

Digital Downloads are typically delivered via an on-screen download link, email link, or your customer account (depending on checkout). You are responsible for ensuring you can access and open PDF files on your device.

Allowed Use

You may:

  • download and store the PDF for personal use,
  • print a copy for personal use,
  • build the model for personal enjoyment and display.

Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • share, forward, email, upload, post, or distribute the PDF (or any portion) to others,
  • resell, sublicense, bundle, trade, or otherwise redistribute the Digital Download,
  • upload the PDF to any file-sharing site, group, marketplace, or social platform,
  • remove watermarks or copyright notices (if present),
  • claim the instructions as your own work,
  • use the instructions (or any portion) to create derivative instruction products for sale,
  • use the Digital Download for commercial purposes without our written permission.

12) Intellectual Property

All Site content (text, images, branding, designs, and downloadable files) is owned by us or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our content without written permission except for normal browsing and purchasing.

13) Prohibited Use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including attempting to:

  • access systems or data without authorization,
  • interfere with Site performance or security,
  • engage in fraud, harassment, or illegal activity.

We may suspend or block access for suspected misuse.

14) Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and products are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Some jurisdictions (including California) may not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

15) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of products.

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the order that gave rise to the claim.

Some states (including California) may not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

16) Governing Law (California) & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

If a dispute arises, you agree to first contact us to try to resolve it informally.

17) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
